Born in Belgravia, London, England. Nick first visited Cape Town in 1999; after four days later he purchased a holiday apartment and decided to emigrate. A year later, business permit in hand he purchased a plot of land in Camps Bay and built his first luxury villa. 15 years later when it comes to the villas industry in Cape Town, Nick Ray's name would be first on many people’s lips.
Current owner of Cape Villas.com, Experience Africa, Villa Secrets, S-World, S-Web and author of “American Butterfly." As CEO of Cape Villas from 2002 to 2010 Nick Ray steered the ship to the world’s highest honour in niche travel, when in 2009 he was recognized by Condé Nast Traveler.
Since 2011, Nick has worked tirelessly on this website, its systems and its business model, which is destined to be emulated across the globe in 2015
