Our Star Gradings are split into eight different levels
Our gradings are not official star gradings that you may find with a hotel, they are per our considerations.

Unlike official TGCSA ,South African Tourism gradings, our gradings take into consideration location and the size of facilities such as swimming pools.

• Four Star or “Silver” follows the TGCSA standards and will be as you would expect a four star hotel of guesthouse to appear.
• Four Star Plus or “Silver Plus” is as above but includes something wow about the property, maybe a view, maybe architecture, a big pool and grounds, in general a pleasing item.
  
  
• Five Star or “Gold: follows the TGCSA standards and will be as you would expect a standard 5 star hotel or guesthouse to appear.
• Five Star Plus or “Gold Plus” is as above but includes something wow about the property, maybe a view, maybe architecture, closeness to a beach, or a big pool and grounds, in general a breathtaking item.
  
  
• Six Star or “Platinum”: Please consider the difference between a five star hotel and a five star luxury hotel. Platinum properties are five star luxury hotel equivalents.
• Six Star Plus or “Platinum Plus”: Such properties are rare, and very close to exceptional in every department.

• Seven Star or “Diamond”: Diamond properties are exceptional and usually come with impeccable service, true ambassadors of luxury.
• Seven Star Plus or “Diamond Plus”: To date, such a property has yet to be inspected, but considering the new building happening all around Lions Head it can only be a matter of time.
