Accommodation rates are the approximate price for your exclude use of the entire lodge, per night. In some cases longer stays or low occupancy may reduce the rate. Shorter stays and high occupancy may increase the rate.

Rates include: luxury accommodation, all daily meals, all local beverages, teas & coffees, two game drives per day, Welgevonden Conservation Levy and road transfer from the South Gate to the Lodge.

Rates exclude: curio shop purchases, telephone calls, cellar wines and spirits, transfers, car hire and charters, laundry and any other purchases of a personal nature.

 Exclusive Use means there will be no other guests or parties in the lodge during your stay, therefore the staff and the entire lodge are for your own private use.

Game drives are conducted at your leisure. Choose a breathtaking sunrise safari to witness the break of day or a leisurely sundowner as the bush prepares for nightfall. Enjoy views of the constantly changing vista of passing wildlife around the Lodge. Witness Lion and Elephant or herds of Wildebeest and Antelope coming to drink at the Lodge water hole.
Relax and soak up the African sun whilst lounging at the pool or watch the prolific variety of birdlife from the Lodge. Binoculars and a telescope are available for your use.
The Lodge library provides a relaxing sanctuary for quiet contemplation. There is a range of books and DVD’s of the animals, birdlife and vegetation of the Waterberg for you to enjoy. 

Pitse Lodge is steeped in the history and mystery of the wilderness of the majestic Waterberg mountains. The Lodge is situated in the malaria free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve lying just North of Johannesburg, South Africa. Here you will find Africa’s Big Five: Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Lion and Rhino, as well as a wide variety of other game species and birdlife attracted to its rolling plains.
Stitched to an ancient rocky ridge on the edge of a vast open grassland, the Lodge stands proud and luxurious with the charm of the “Old-Transvaal” making this your private “Exclusive Use” wilderness retreat. Game drives are conducted at your convenience and candlelit dinners can be enjoyed at the fireside under a canopy of stars. Children are most welcome.
